About Alicia
Are you a working professional looking to refine your range? Intermediate learners often come to me when they feel ready to address specific technical challenges.
My background as a graduate of the Yale School of Music informs my perspective on vocal health and care. I integrate my BA in French Literature into the way we analyze the text and resonance of vocal works. Vibrato control and head and chest voice mechanics become much clearer after a few sessions.
Grade exam candidates find that my diagnostic vocal assessment for every new student provides a strong starting point. This systematic evaluation helps us track growth over time.
I enjoy watching students move from vocal uncertainty to increased confidence. Singing connects deeply to my own identity as a musician. This remains a central part of my life.

Working professionals and exam candidates find that my 8 years of experience provide a stable framework for their development. Pitch control and tone exercises occupy the early portion of our time.
We then move into sight singing and repertoire selection for your goals. My academic training ensures that you understand the anatomy behind every sound you produce. I keep a detailed log of your technical progress as we move through different difficulty levels.
Intermediate students particularly enjoy the way we break down complex vocal phrases. You will find that these habits simplify the most challenging aspects of your music. Results follow a steady and intentional process.
