About Osama
Music has been the driving force of my life since I first stepped behind the decks at 13 years old. I am Osama, and over the past nine years, I have built a comprehensive foundation in live performance, equipment mastery, and audio production.
My Musical Background:
I am a multi-instrumentalist with deep expertise in traditional Eastern instruments, specifically the oud and the darbuka. This classical and rhythmic training directly informs my approach to DJing. Understanding live instrumentation gives me a highly developed ear for complex phrasing, percussion, and groove, which translates directly into better track mixing.
I have extensive hands-on experience operating a wide variety of hardware ecosystems, ranging from introductory Numark controllers to professional Pioneer club setups. Alongside live mixing, I possess robust experience using industry-standard production software. I actively compose, produce, and master my own original Afro-house and deep house tracks.
Performance Experience:
While my personal passion is deeply rooted in house music, I am a highly adaptable performer. My absolute favorite events to play are weddings. These high-stakes environments require precise technical execution, crowd psychology, and utter professionalism to keep the energy alive. I bring this exact level of dedication and real-world performance insight directly into my teaching to help you succeed in any environment.

These lessons are built specifically for absolute beginners conquering their first controller and intermediate DJs preparing to refine their transitions for live sets.
My Teaching Methodology
We focus heavily on the core mechanics of a great set, including structural phrasing, manual beatmatching, and EQ control. I adapt my teaching style to match your learning pace and personal goals. My online setup features dual camera angles so you can see my exact hand movements on the mixer and platters. This visual clarity accelerates your progress and removes the guesswork from technical execution.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Goal Setting (10 mins): We review your progress and establish a specific technical target for the session.
Visual Demonstration (20 mins): I break down a new mixing technique step by step on my equipment.
Live Application (30 mins): You take the controls. We run guided practice rounds together, and I provide immediate, constructive feedback to lock in your muscle memory.
