I specialise in doing realism, pencil drawing, graphite. I am patient, friendly, and have a great passion for art and for teaching it to others.

Lessons are available for all ages and experience levels — whether you’re a child exploring art for the first time, a GCSE or A-level student refining your skills, or an adult returning to drawing. My approach is always tailored to each individual’s pace, style, and goals. Sessions are one hour long and can take place either online or face-to-face, depending on your location. If you’re based in or around Leigh or Manchester, we can meet at a local library or another convenient public space. For students across the UK — from London to Liverpool to Birmingham — online lessons are just as effective. I’ve developed structured methods to ensure that even virtual sessions feel personal, practical, and impactful. Most students are able to begin creating realistic pencil drawings within just a few weeks of consistent practice. I offer a free first lesson, where I introduce my teaching method, explain the step-by-step process I use, and assess your goals to create a personalised learning path. Parents are always welcome to attend and observe their child’s artistic progress during lessons.

I had drawing lessons online with yasmin, and even though they were online but they were easy to follow and very effective, yasmin taught me useful techniques and gave me exercises to do between sessions and reviewed the exercises i did. I highly recommend yasmin as a realism graphite tutor.
I always wanted to learn pencil realism, but i struggled and didn’t know what was the issue with my drawings, yasmins lessons helped me develop my attention to detail and understand my drawings. She helped me develop my skills and understand shading and blending.
I found Yasmin online as i was searching for an art tutor, I have online sessions with her. I am happy with the skill level I have reached after our sessions.
She always gave me homework to do, and even was available to answer my questions between sessions, review my work and give me support during the week.I know Yasmin from our local library where she was running art workshops. I attended her workshops and took some one to one drawing lessons with her. She is amazing and guided me with patience to develop my drawing skills. I am very grateful to her and glad to know her.
Gave me a lot of valuable advise, and taught me helpful technics for realism drawing, will be having more lessons with her definitely.
