About Ekin
After reviewing the tutoring guidelines and making a list of objectives for the tutoring session, I start by checking for understanding. I fill in any gaps or misunderstandings with the material, and ask probing questions to lead students to understand the material themselves. Then I work through two examples (one where I work with them, then I get them to do the work and make sure they understand). I end off with a quick review, and may give them additional problems to try to assess if they are having trouble with the concept. I can work with both high school and college students. I really want to see everyone I help succeed and love seeing students finally reach understanding at the end of a session!

I am a recent graduate of Physics and Astronomy from the University of Waterloo. I intend to help students with their school work and improve their understanding when it comes to math and physics problems, I cover from middle school to high school levels.
