About Phineas
I have always had a strong connection to France and the French language. I have family who live there and was able to study abroad my junior year in Strasbourg, France. One reason I love tutoring so much is because I also get to learn with my students. Maintaining one's language skills is an active process that requires a lot of discipline and consistency. I hope that during my time working with you, I can demonstrate what has worked for in the past while also learning about you and figuring out new and improved ways to teach and student the French language.

In my experience, every student learns different so I will cater my lesson plans to the student's strengths. Speaking out loud and repetition will always be a key part of my teaching and I will help my students find strategies for individual studying and working that works best for them so they can feel more confident in their abilities.
