About Abigail
I recently graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.A. in Linguistics, minor in Spanish, and certificate in Language Science. I've been tutoring for five years in various subjects -- English as a second language, Spanish, and linguistics. I've been taking Spanish classes for about 10 years and plan to move to Spain to teach English.

I have been working with children (summer camp counselor) for seven years and teaching my own camps for the past few summers, so I have experience with making my lessons fun and engaging. I've also been peer tutoring for several years so I am enthusiastic to tutor adults in Spanish as well. My background in linguistics has made me attentive to grammar and structure as well as pronunciation. I have taken Spanish classes that make me well-rounded in the field, such as Hispanic linguistics, oral communications, and Hispanic literture, in addition to various classes in the education department regarding language education (particularly TESOL).
