About Thomas
University of Edinburgh French and Business Graduate (1st - With Distinction in Spoken French). After four years of studying French and Business, I am now using my skills to share the fantastic francophone cultures and French language. I spent last year in the sunny Aix-en-Provence in the south of France perfecting my speaking skills whilst taking on several classes at the Université d'Aix-Marseille. Whilst there I also tried my hand at teaching, helping students my age learn English I ran conversational classes throughout the two semesters. Prior to my time at university, I spent one year teaching English in the incredible Cassamance region of Senegal in the West of Africa. There I got used to classes of over 60 students, some of whom were older than I was at the time. I'm always up for a challenge and willing to help!

Whether you are needing help with primary, secondary or even early-stage French language and speaking practice for school or require help with your English (at any level) I am ready for you. After many years of learning French, I have acquired lots of material for us to go through and practise trickier aspects of grammar together, or if you need help with your oral French I am lucky to have French family that have helped me perfect my accent and have given me tricks to sound more fluent.

Perfect! My free lesson with Thomas confirmed my choice of him as a French tutor. He was able to assess my level and prepare for the first of ten lessons via Skype that we have now booked. He provides a clear lesson plan with several different elements and has sent materials via email so that I can prepare in advance and then revise afterwards. He has a friendly, encouraging manner and gives a good lead with clear pronunciation. I am confident that we shall make very good progress together. Merci beaucoup, Thomas! Vincent
