About Jamila
I recently graduated with honors from UConn with a B.A. in Psychological Sciences and minor in Communications. I have taken courses in advanced interpersonal communication, developmental, abnormal, Black, and physiological psychology, as well as performing as an academic/personal mentor to a small group of college students on academic probation. I am seeking to provide emotional and/or social support and guidance to young adults feeling lost or overwhelmed.

I have a fairly relaxed structure, where we get to know each other, and I can learn the nuances of your concerns. Once we have established your primary concerns, we will problem solve together to bring about actionable solutions, or at the very least, make you feel heard. We will have regular sessions 1-2 times a week for approximately 2-3 months; and revisit your initial stressors periodically to ensure we're making progress.
