About Marina
I have been tutoring professionally for several years now after starting out as the only female undergraduate tutor in the Math & Statistics Learning Center at Oregon State University. Until graduating in June 2026, I worked as a peer tutor through TRIO Student Support Services at OSU, and I am now continuing my work as a private STEM tutor in the PDX and surrounding area as well as remotely.
With years of experience both learning and teaching physics, I am well-equipped to help students reach understanding and success in this subject.

What I will do as your tutor:
- Walk through new problems and confirm understanding at each step
- Develop practice problems and exam study guides upon request
- Offer hints that guide students toward answers
- Work as fast or as slow as needed
- Tailor lessons to meet individual learning needs
- Be patient, encouraging, and flexible
I can provide tutoring support in any high school physics class and most college-level general physics courses, including PH 211-213 at Oregon State. Please reach out if you have questions about tutoring in a particular course.
