About Edward
Hi
I'm a graduate from the University of Huddersfield who has lots of experience playing guitar as well teaching on a 1:1 basis while working at Colne Valley High School during my placement year. I studied music technology and popular music finishing with a 2:1 classification. I also have a music and music technology A-level, and a music GCSE. Outside of my studies I've performed lead/acoustic/bass guitar spending three years as a bass player in an Altervative rock band called 'Quiet Eyes', as well as playing in blues and jazz bands, and playing acoustic guitar for singer Rebbeca Holland.
During my placement year at Univesity, I spent a year as a music technician at Colne Valley High School. During this time I helped GCSE students with their compositions and performances on a 1:1 basis. All the students I helped got the grades they hoped for, and went on to study at the college of their choice.
I'm happy to travel or provide lessons at home as required. Instruments available if needed.
