About Felisha
"I have helped 290 students find clarity in their creative process since I began my career. Holding a BMus from the New Zealand School of Music gave me the technical foundation to understand melody but my 10 years of production taught me how to actually finish a song.
I work with teens and working musicians who need to bridge the gap between a rough demo and a polished final product. My lessons emphasize LYRIC WRITING and melodic phrasing to ensure that every section of your composition serves the central concept.
I believe that editing and rewriting are the most overlooked skills in the industry. By focusing on title development and genre conventions like folk or R&B, we ensure that your music reaches the intended audience effectively.
I keep things direct and gear-aware because I know that a good song does not need fancy production to shine. You will learn to treat your songs as works in progress that require constant refinement. I am here to help you get the words out of your head and onto the page."

My 10 years of experience taught me that structural constraints are actually freeing for working musicians. We dive into the mechanics of what makes a hook memorable.
