About Holly
My name is Holly, I live in Aberdeenshire with my husband and our two daughters, I am originally from Lancashire, England. After working as a Coronary Care Sister prior to starting a family, I am now available to offer my mentoring and support in online tutoring. I have mentored many students and qualified nurses over the years, and as well as medical and nursing knowledge, I have studied Public Health Nutrition and Mathematics at higher levels. Nursing can be an overwhelming profession that requires calm and supportive peers to help guide you, I can be that mentor for you.

I’m an adult nurse with cardiology experience, and I love helping others feel more confident in their nursing studies and professional development. Whether you’re a student nurse, newly qualified, or preparing for revalidation, my sessions are relaxed, supportive, and completely tailored to you. We’ll focus on the areas you want to strengthen — from medication maths and dosage calculations, to reflection writing, preparing for ALS or ILS, or just getting more organised with your study approach. I use real clinical examples and simple explanations to help tricky topics make sense. Lessons are usually about an hour, but I also offer shorter 30-minute sessions if you just need a quick refresher or review. My goal is to help you feel confident and capable — not just pass an exam or tick a box. Nursing is demanding enough; your learning shouldn’t be overwhelming too.
