About Martha
Melbourne born and bred I completed VCE in 2013, with a special interest in Health Sciences, achieving a score of 24/25 for the subject. I soon after studied Health Sciences at Monash University however craved a more hands on and interpersonal approach and began my nursing career studying as a Registered Nurse with Monash University.
I have worked in both Private and Public Mental Health settings, with specialised skills in Alcohol and Drug withdrawal, Trans Cranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Dual Diagnoses and Therapeutic Management.
Studying the Postgraduate Diploma of Mental Health Nursing at Melbourne University I have largely focused my time in Psychiatry. However keep my physical nursing skills sharp by working in the public system.
Personality: I am a bubbly yet professional 27 year old, I identify as Female.
I am an LGBQTI+ Ally.
In my spare time I enjoy getting my hands dirty with ceramics and gardening. And will gladly pass on my knowledge on these two wonderful hobbies if you are interested.
I thoroughly enjoy teaching, and take on student nurses at every opportunity while I am at work. I believe a vast majority of nursing skills are learnt during placements and while in the workforce and therefore I gladly pass on the tips and tricks I have learnt over my studies and career.

I guide my students much like I guide my students who are with me on placements. I first like to gauge your current level of knowledge, your learning style, a specific interests or requirements you have and then create a study plan tailored to your needs.
I provide help for all levels. Whether that be VCE students needing guidance in Health Sciences, aor prospective Enrolled and Registered Nurses.
Lessons can be arranged to suit your needs, including flexible frequency and length of lessons.
If you have any learning objectives please highlight these with me, and I will make sure you excel in these objectives. Otherwise I am able to provide a personalised set of learning objectives suitable to your level or learning.
