About Jordan
I am a NICU nurse based in Orange County, CA and I am extremely passionate about my job! I am currently obtaining a Master's degree in Nursing Education and hope to be a professor of nursing one day. I was an English tutor and supplemental instructor in community college and university and spent a lot of time working with students from diverse backgrounds and understanding learning theory. I genuinely love the process of leading students to having that "lightbulb" moment and watching them grow as students. I also am a nurse staff developer and provide education and educational materials for bedside nurses.

My approach is that students will master concepts so well that they can teach it back to me and their colleagues. During our sessions we will: - Review the content you are struggling with - Identify your learning style and apply it to content - Utilize the teach back approach to master content - Hopefully find some enjoyment and real life applicability to content My hope is that you will come away from tutoring feeling confident about the content and develop some studying skills along the way! I specialize in college level Anatomy & Physiology, pathophysiology, and microbiology.
