About Beatrice
A graduate of Wilmington University (USA) for Bachelor's degree in Nursing and Deakin University (Melbourne, Australia) for Masters in Advanced Nursing Practice, i bring a lot of knowledge and experience in nursing to my tutoring sessions. My nursing background is acute (medical & surgical) care, aged care, community nursing, leadership & management and clinical education. My speciality areas include dementia care, palliative care, pharmacology (drug calculations), falls prevention & management, leadership and management and chronic disease management. My passion for mentoring and education drives me to empower students by sharing knowledge and practical experience so they can excel in their academics.

I am an advanced practice nurse with 4 years experience in empowering nursing students through tutoring and clinical facilitation to achieve academic success. I am a clinical facilitator in a local university teaching and guiding nursing students from diverse backgrounds and at different levels of learning. I am passionate about sharing knowledge and helping nursing students understand information gained in a classroom and apply it in nursing practice. Every student has potential to excel in their studies with the right support, advice and guidance. I have a student centred approach when tutoring. I learn each student's learning style and apply it when tutoring. I provide online and face-to-face tutoring and offer support and guidance to Diploma and Bachelor's nursing students with exams, essays, assignment, case studies, NCLEX preparation, pharmacology i.e. medication calculations etc. I will help you understand assessment instructions and what is expected and guide you on how to approach it. I use demonstration, simulation, discussion, problem solving, case study, and brain storming teaching methods to help students learn and understand leraning content.
