About Aliya

Hi, I’m Aliya — an artist and art teacher currently living in Bali.

Art has been part of my life for many years. I studied architecture, completed 7 years of art education, and have been teaching drawing and painting for over 7 years.

I created these sessions to help people slow down, relax, and express their emotions through creativity. You don’t need to be an artist — just curiosity and openness.

About the lesson

In this 50-minute guided art session, we use drawing and painting to help you relax, express feelings, and reconnect with yourself.

You will:
• slow down and calm your mind
• express emotions through art
• explore creativity in a safe, supportive space

No art experience needed.

Aliya is clearly very knowledgeable and seriously knows her stuff. I came to her as a complete beginner and only wanted to learn some sketching, but she encouraged me to try to start coloring first with pencils then with different paints and now I am enjoying it so much I want to learn it all. She teaches proper technique and I am always amazed at how well I can actually draw when shown how. I've started drawing more and more on my own with my new found confidence in drawing. If you are a complete beginner or just interested in improving, book Aliya! You will not regret it!

I’ve had a great experience learning drawing with Aliya. She explains techniques clearly and is very patient and supportive. Her lessons are structured but still fun, which makes it easy for me to improve. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to build confidence in drawing!
