About Catherin
With 20 years of experience as a violin tutor, I have taught school students, college students, and working professionals from various backgrounds. I enjoy sharing my passion for music and helping students experience the joy that comes from learning an instrument.
My teaching philosophy is centered on flexibility and student-focused learning. I believe that each student has unique strengths and goals, and I design lessons that support their individual development. I encourage students to progress step by step while enjoying the learning process.
Over the years, I have successfully helped many students improve their technical skills, musical expression, and confidence. One of my notable achievements has been seeing students become independent learners who continue pursuing music with enthusiasm.
My mission is to provide a positive learning experience that helps students develop both skill and a lasting appreciation for music.

My teaching methodology is built on kindness, patience, and continuous support. I believe that students perform best when they feel respected and encouraged. Therefore, I create lessons that are flexible and tailored to each learner.
For violin students, I focus on proper posture, rhythm training, finger placement, and bowing techniques. I teach concepts clearly and gradually so students can gain confidence at every stage of learning.
I provide regular encouragement and guide students in building effective practice habits. Positive reinforcement helps students stay motivated and enjoy their progress.
Besides violin, I can teach music theory, ear training, sight reading, and related music subjects. These areas help students become stronger musicians with a deeper understanding of music.
My goal is to help students grow musically while developing discipline and self-confidence.
