About Gideon
Teaching Spanish has been my passion for the past 19+ years. During this time, I have helped High School and College students strengthen their language skills through lessons designed around their individual learning needs. I believe personalised learning creates better results because every student has a unique way of understanding and applying new knowledge. My goal is to help learners become confident while making every lesson enjoyable and productive.
My teaching includes grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, speaking, listening, and conversational Spanish. I combine structured lessons with interactive exercises, practical examples, and real-world communication activities that encourage students to use Spanish naturally. Regular speaking practice helps learners build fluency while improving their confidence.
One of my unique teaching skills is simplifying difficult grammar topics without making lessons feel overwhelming. I explain concepts step by step and provide additional practice whenever students need extra support. Regular assessments and personalised feedback allow students to measure their progress while staying motivated.
I also introduce students to Spanish-speaking cultures by discussing traditions, history, food, music, and everyday communication. This cultural knowledge helps learners connect with the language while developing greater appreciation and understanding.
My commitment to personalised learning allows me to support every student with patience, flexibility, and continuous encouragement. I enjoy helping learners achieve academic success while developing practical Spanish skills they can use throughout their lives.

My Spanish teaching methodology is built around motivation, communication, creativity, and effective time management. I strongly believe that motivated students learn faster and retain more, so I create a supportive and encouraging environment in every class.
I keep my students motivated by understanding their goals, breaking lessons into small achievable steps, and celebrating every milestone they reach. Communication is at the heart of my teaching; I focus on helping students speak and understand Spanish through real-life conversations, interactive exercises, and listening activities.
Creativity is another key aspect—I use storytelling, games, role-plays, visual aids, and fun activities to make learning engaging, memorable, and practical. Time management ensures that each lesson is productive; I carefully plan classes to cover grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversation practice without overwhelming students.
I also teach them how to manage their own study time for regular practice. Besides Spanish, I can support learning in related areas like grammar, pronunciation, and basic language skills to improve overall understanding. My goal is to help students learn Spanish in a simple, structured, and enjoyable way, making them confident and fluent step by step.
