About Jonathan
I am a physicist with a PhD in Organic Electronics, obtained at the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in Pisa, Italy. I am also a University researcher, with teaching experience at both the University of Pisa and the Politecnico di Milano. Science, and more specifically Physics, fascinate me because they observe the world with a critical sensibility, relying exclusively on objective data, validated with rigour. In addition to technical skills, I therefore try to transmit these values during a lesson, because I believe that developing a critical thinking is necessary to dig into a proper and non-superficial comprehension of everyday life problems, going beyond the simple "good grade" to the test in class. In fact, I believe that this provide a tool to people allowing them developing awareness about the world, and becoming more capable of consciously evaluating what they will encounter, also outside the walls of the classrooms.

My method is based on stimulating the student curiosity and interest, to make the study of the subject an opportunity for gratifying discovery, and not for pressing obligation as an end in itself.
I defined with the student the learning objectives and the topics to be studied in depth. This allows to structure a flexible work plan that is constantly readapted according to the new progress or new needs of the student.
For each topic, the student decides whether he prefers to deepen/clarify theoretical aspects, or if he wants to favour the application of these concepts to exercises.
Typically, at each meeting the key points of the previous arguments to establish the understanding.
