About Arthur
I am a retired Mental Health Nurse with 43 years experience across inpatient (acute/long term/ rehabilitation) and community settings working “on the floor” and as a Unit Manager in a community Rehabilitation facility - I also worked for 6 years as Educator/Mentor/Co-ordinator of a Post Grad programme for newly registered nurses in the inpatient setting - I was part of a team who developed the programme linked to Wollongong University - my main passion is to assist new Mental Health Nurses to develop not only knowledge but skills and confidence as they undertake an at times challenging - I also offer opportunities for nurses to reflect on their practice in a way which is again focussed on helping them develop confidence in their work

Worked for 20 years as Mental Health Nursing Mentor/Post Grad Programme Co-ordinator - focus on the student developing confidence and skills in their clinical setting or preparing under grads for exams/assignments or new graduates for clinical work and challenges they face - I also help the student with self care strategies in challenging environments - online or face to face tutoring available
