• Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?

  My first experience using a computer was when i was around 10 years of age i remember the pain of slow dial up connection and playing chess and tetris

• What is the technological evolution that has marked you most and what will be, in your eyes, a turning point in this field?

  Great question I think AI is the major turning point in the industry in my lifetime and will have similar changes to seismic changes like the internet.

• Explain your expertise, your interest in it and, more broadly, its importance in the computer world.

  I am an Associate and Design Technology Manager with almost a decade of expertise in the industry working for award-winning architecture practices previously in Europe and now Australia, where I have contributed to the design and delivery of several high-profile projects across various sectors, including commercial, education, health, sports, and residential ranging in value from $10 million - $5 Billion.
  
  I am also proud to be a LEED Green Associate with the US Green Building Council and a Chartered Member of the British Institute of Architectural Technology (CIAT) and holds a Bachelor of Architecture (Honors) from Munster Technological University. Paraic is passionate about digital management, biophilic design, and artificial intelligence.

• Do so-called 'visionaries', such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you or do you have other role models?

  I am a big fan of Steve Jobs eye for detail and creative brain as i work in the field of architecture where it is imperative, I also think Elon Musk is an impressive visionary.

• What would you say to an uncomfortable person in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?

  I would say don't worry I'm aware it can be overwhelming at the start but it's based on simple commands let me show you how it works.

• What are your other passions, related or non-related to computers?

  Passionate about, cycling, swimming and travelling the world currently pursuing my 30th country that I have visited.
