About the lesson

Each student is taught in a way that suits their personality and learning style.
I have a huge amount of resources, well-developed and flexible tutoring techniques and use computers in an innovative way including mathematical and statistical software.
Sessions can be revision, covering current work or getting ahead of class.
Depending upon the student’s ability I can use a number of methods instead of the one shown in class, I can derive formulae instead of telling the student just to learn it, I can ask probing questions to determine how much the student actually understands and I teach students to find ways of answering a question as efficiently as possible so that time constraints in an exam are minimised.
All sessions are held in my studio in Bowral.
Alternatively, sessions can be via Teams using the screenshare facility. I have the appropriate computer equipment to do this effectively.
