About Deepti
Inspiring Confidence. Building Strong English Foundations.
With 14+ years of experience in international education, my approach is warm, personalized and learner-centered. I create a supportive space where young learners feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and expressing themselves with confidence.
I am TEFL & TESOL certified, a Jolly Phonics Educator, and have completed the Jim Kwik Brain Expert course, including training in speed reading and learning techniques. I also hold a B.Ed. with Distinction, M.Ed., and M.A. in English.
My sessions focus on phonics, reading, speaking, vocabulary and comprehension, while developing the confidence and skills learners need to become independent communicators.
Every learner has a voice. My role is to help them find it, strengthen it and use it with confidence.

My Approach to Tutoring
I believe every learner can become a confident reader and communicator when learning is personalized, purposeful and enjoyable.
My sessions combine IB PYP inquiry-based learning, phonics, reading, vocabulary, speaking, comprehension and writing. I use stories, conversations, games, questioning, real-life contexts and engaging resources to make English meaningful and enjoyable.
I am TEFL & TESOL certified, a Jolly Phonics Educator, and have completed the Jim Kwik Brain Expert course, with training in speed reading and learning techniques. These approaches help me support learners in developing stronger reading habits, comprehension and confidence.
I have 14+ years of experience in international education across EYFS, Primary and KS1, and hold a B.Ed. with Distinction, M.Ed. and M.A. in English.
Who are my lessons for?
My sessions are designed for young learners aged 4–10 years, from beginners to learners who need additional support with phonics, reading, speaking, vocabulary, comprehension and early writing.
Typical lesson: 45–60 minutes, depending on the learner’s age, level and attention span.
