About Elnaz
Elnaz Zare received her MSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in 2012. She co-founded Matris Robotics School, dedicated to teaching young people (ages 5–16) robotics and coding through an innovative, research-based pedagogy. With over 10,000 hours of teaching experience, she has educated more than 10,000 students over the past 11 years. In 2023, she joined the UCL Computer Science Department, where she continues to develop novel, project-based learning methods in robotics and STEM education. She specialises in unconventional, research-driven teaching strategies that enhance students’ practical skills.
