About Joseph
Hello! I am a robotics PhD researcher who loves robots and teaching GCSE maths. I have continuously taught maths to others throughout my education as I believe understanding this subject early on is so important and opens so many gateways in life, even if maths isn't one of your passions. Professionally I spend a lot of time coding in Python and C++ so I'm also happy to cover how maths links into coding if you are interested.

Through teaching I have realised that everyone's learning style is different, hence for each student I tailor my classes specifically to them, be it a more visual or classical approach. I also cover all exam boards and have no issue teaching around the subject as well (particularly regarding how maths is applied in the real world) .
In terms of experience I have done a lot of tutoring in maths, science and coding while at university. During the classes I am initially methodical and patient when teaching core concepts and methods, then once the student is comfortable I'll change the pace of the lessons and really push them to achieve their potential during their exams.
