About Dr Emre
I am a professional violinist, performer, and a music educator. I am a very friendly person. I like to read, travel and discover new cultures. One of most enjoyable things in my life is to teach violin. I also enjoy arranging pieces for different instrument combinations.
As an active performer, I have performed at many prestigious concert halls such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and Royal Festival Hall.
I have studied at the Royal College of Music, Manhattan School of Music, Yale School of Music, and the State University of New York, Stony Brook Music Department.
I held a violin and music theory assistantship at the State University of New York Stony Brook Music Department for 3 years. I held a teaching artist position at the Yale University Music Department for a year.
I have been teaching privately for more than 8 years now.
I have recently joined the team of London based Crescendo School of Music and Art.

Another important aspect of my teaching method is to practice with the student. When people learn to play an instrument, they also need to be taught how to practice. Otherwise, it is very common to find the students making the same mistake each lesson or not improving because the teacher doesn’t give the student the necessary tools to be able practice on their own.
In conclusion, my teaching method is based on fun and right guidance according to student’s needs.
