About Cyrus
I am a practising artist and filmmaker who graduated from the MFA Fine Art degree at the Ruskin School of Art, University of Oxford, where I was awarded the Clarendon Scholarship, a fully-funded award based on outstanding academic merit and potential. I previously studied at the Slade School of Fine Art, UCL where I graduated with first class honours and was placed on the Dean's list (top 5% of graduating students). I've exhibited at notable galleries such as South London Gallery, Leeds Art Gallery, and the Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre. My work was selected as part of the New Contemporaries in 2019, and my films have been selected in multiple film festivals internationally.
My students have secured offers and scholarships at top universities including UCL, UAL, King's College London, and the University of Hong Kong.

I'm keen to help students who are applying to art school at foundation and university level, and can assist with portfolio reviews, application statements, writing on contemporary art, and practical skills for your next project. I have a particular expertise in camera-based media, and employ a holistic method of teaching with a friendly approach. Typical sessions are 1 - 1.5 hours long where we will discuss your portfolio, personal statement and other concerns regarding your application. I can also provide guidance on artwork documentation, having worked as a professional product photographer for the past 5 years.
