About
I am an RYT-200 and RYT-500 with Yoga Alliance and a NASM-CNC, located in Utah. I have practiced yoga for over 30 years and have been a registered yoga instructor since 2021. I am certified in mindfulness, trauma-informed yoga, and the Yoga for Seniors Krucoff-Carlson method. I am also an avid runner (moving meditation!) who logs 20 or more miles per week, and I love studying fitness, nutrition and wellness!
In addition to traditional adult yoga, I specialize in working with older adults and am experienced with yoga programming for senior/care centers and assisted living facilities, as well as Seniors receiving in-home care. I have experience with younger adults, active Seniors, individuals with mobility challenges, individuals with Alzheimer's & Dementia, and individuals that use wheelchairs or walkers.

I provide fun and engaging yoga sessions that emphasize posture, balance, connection, gentle muscle activation, breath awareness, and community. Sessions are customized to meet individual goals and needs.
I focus on yoga to gently activate muscles versus "pushing" for a stretch. Although flexibility is important, there are many ways to achieve flexibility (and strength) while still honoring the infinite number of body types and wellness/fitness goals. A yoga practice should fit within your life, your health profile and your desired outcomes. Yoga should be relaxing but energizing, fun and engaging, and should keep you wanting more!
