About Talia
I’ve been a self-employed test prep tutor for over 12 years, and I have assisted students with their college application packages for almost as long. I have extensive experience tutoring the GMAT, GRE, LSAT, SAT, and ACT. I have a BA from the University of Southern California and an MA from Binghamton University, and I published a Master’s thesis in 2015. I currently reside in Bed Stuy, Brooklyn.

My tutoring style is interpersonal and adaptive, as I hope to address the unique academic needs of each of my students. I believe that removing judgment from the test preparation process maximizes progress.
I aim to facilitate a comfortable and laid-back environment that promotes experimentation and collaboration. I try to alleviate the environmental and psychological pressure inherent to standardized testing, so that you feel as capable, prepared, and relaxed as possible on test day.
