About Neelay
I have taught multiple students ranging from ages of 5-17, from simple addition to SAT Math. I have been giving lessons for about a year now, and have taught about 6 students. Many of the students have been younger children, and they have been found to easily excel in their classes. I have been able to not only teach them what they are learning at the time, but teach them in a way in which their future classes have become easier. Currently I am tutoring a high school student in SAT Math, in which she has made drastic improvement from the first practice test of 480 to the latest one given in which she scored a 640. I will strive to continue to help her surpass her goal of a score in the math section of a 600.

I am a college student attending Rutgers Universtiy. I am trying to disperse my vast knowledge upon younger students who need help in Math and Science courses. I have taken all Advanced Placement courses in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, as well as Calculus, therefore I am more than capable of teaching any of the sciences as well as prerequisite math courses to Calculus. I am involved in clubs and sports, which allows me to incorporate good communication with the student. I plan to use the problem posing educational ideology, in which I strive for a free flowing ideas between the student and the teacher. This requires conscious communication to occur, in order to teach the student the "why" behind what they are learning, as well as the "how".
