About Bukola

Hi, I'm Bukola, a qualified primary school teacher working within the British Curriculum framework, with training aligned to Ofsted standards. I am currently completing a Postgraduate Certificate through Liverpool John Moores University to further strengthen my teaching practice and stay current with best practices in education.

I approach every lesson with genuine care, thorough preparation, and a strong sense of professionalism. Hi, I'm Bukola, a primary school teacher who makes Science and Math clear, engaging, and enjoyable for young learners.

Rather than teaching a fixed script, I adapt my pace and explanations to the individual child breaking down tricky concepts into smaller, manageable steps until they click.
A typical lesson: I usually begin with a short recap of what we covered last time to check understanding, followed by introducing the new topic through a simple, relatable example. We then work through practice questions together, adjusting the difficulty in real time based on how the child is doing. Each lesson ends with a quick, low-pressure check-in so the child leaves feeling confident about what they've learned, plus light practice to reinforce it before our next session.
What sets me apart: I focus on the "why" behind a concept, not just the answer, helping children build real understanding rather than memorizing steps. I combine genuine patience with a focus on building a child's confidence and belief in their own ability, not just their test scores.
