The style of teaching that I utilize is unique, deploying technology combined with the time tempered traditional methods. This multi-faceted approach has been very successful in teaching students with different learning abilities. PowerPoint is utilized to highlight the book and important concepts for the visual learners. The white board and overhead projector are utilized for the hands-on learner. Overheads are then used to reinforce the material as a review. Often the second time a student observes the material, it is then learned. The final approach is through on-line homework and workbooks. Working through multiple problems in the on-line classroom melds the homework and lecture material. This structure encourages creative applications to real-world applications.
