About Simon
I am an incoming second year medical student at the University of Cambridge, having achieved First Class results in first year examinations that rank within the top 10% of my cohort. These results have earned me a College Scholarship. I achieved 4/4 medical school offers in 2024, some very early on in the application process, from the University of Cambridge (received January 2024), Imperial College London (received March 2024), King's College London (received January 2024) and the University of Bristol (received December 2023). I achieved a UCAT score of 3300 (825/900 subtest average) with a Band 1 SJT, placing in the top 1% of candidates. My experience allows me to offer tailored support with the various aspects of the medical school application process. This includes UCAT preparation, personal statement guidance and interview preparation (MMI and panel), as well as Oxbridge admissions.

Lessons with me will be in the form of one-hour sessions, with a highly individual focus on the aspects of your medical school application of your choosing, whether that be UCAT/interview practice, personal statement guidance, or your wider academic progress. I strongly encourage proactive, reflective and strategic thinking skills to bring out the best in applicants. This allows them to maximise their strengths and identify their weaknesses in a systematic, straightforward manner, with the aim of working towards a medical school application as strong and bullet-proof as possible.
