As a tutor, I focus on practical, hands-on learning combined with theoretical foundations to help students understand and apply design principles effectively. My approach is highly interactive and personalized, ensuring that each student gains confidence in their creative abilities. Teaching Method & Techniques I use a project-based approach, guiding students through real-world design challenges to develop their problem-solving skills. Depending on the subject, I incorporate hand sketching, digital modeling, prototyping, and material exploration. I also introduce industry-standard software like Adobe Suite and SolidWorks, balancing traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. Typical Lesson Plan 1. Introduction & Concept Discussion – Understanding the student’s goals and interests 2. Skill Development – Hands-on exercises in sketching, modeling, or software 3. Project Work – Applying learned techniques to a design task 4. Feedback & Refinement – Reviewing work and discussing improvements 5. Wrap-up & Next Steps – Setting goals for continued learning What Sets Me Apart My diverse experience in ceramics, jewelry, fashion, and graphic design allows me to provide a multidisciplinary perspective. I encourage creative exploration, helping students think beyond conventional solutions and develop their unique design voice. Who the Lessons Are For My lessons are ideal for students of all levels, whether beginners looking to build a foundation or design students wanting to refine their skills. I tailor sessions to university students, hobbyists, and aspiring designers looking to improve in industrial design, digital tools, and hands-on prototyping.
