About Ritu
I am a second-year medical student at King’s College London with a strong academic background in Biology and Chemistry. I am passionate about helping students build confidence in science subjects and improving both their understanding and exam performance.
Having recently completed my first year of medical school, I have a solid grounding in biomedical sciences, including Anatomy, Physiology, and core biological concepts.
I have experience tutoring students within my school and local community, supporting them in GCSE and A-level Biology and Chemistry. I understand that science subjects can often feel challenging, so I focus on clear explanations, structured learning, and exam-focused techniques to help students make steady and measurable progress.
My approach is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and developing their understanding at their own pace.

As a second-year medical student at King’s College London, I aim to make lessons clear, engaging and tailored to each student’s needs. I understand that subjects like Biology and Chemistry can feel overwhelming, so I focus on breaking difficult topics down into manageable steps and explaining concepts in a way that is easy to understand and remember.
My lessons are usually around one hour long and are adapted depending on the student’s level and goals. A typical lesson may include going through key concepts, working through difficult topics, practising exam-style questions, and reviewing any areas the student finds challenging. I also place a strong emphasis on exam technique and active recall, helping students not only understand the content but also apply it effectively in assessments.
I have experience tutoring a range of students within my school and community, and I enjoy creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. I am happy to teach students up to A-level standard, particularly in Biology and Chemistry, and I tailor my teaching style to suit each learner’s pace and preferred way of studying.
My goal is not only to help students improve academically, but also to help them feel more confident and independent in their learning.
