About Ashvika
I chose to tutor because I genuinely care about helping students succeed. I know how challenging and overwhelming English can feel, especially when pressure from school and exams builds up. Having achieved top grades myself, I understand what examiners are looking for and how small changes can make a huge difference in results. Also, having had to work up to a top grade, I understand where mistakes are made and what is needed in order to make the improvements.
I am deeply invested in every student I teach. I want to see them grow in confidence, overcome their doubts, and realise what they are truly capable of. My aim is not just to help them pass, but to help them reach their full potential and feel proud of their progress. Watching a student go from feeling stuck to writing with clarity and confidence is incredibly rewarding, and that is what motivates me.
Every student deserves the chance to succeed, and I am committed to providing the support, encouragement, and guidance needed for them to achieve their best.

My lessons are carefully tailored to each student’s individual strengths, weaknesses, and learning style. I have experience in teaching for just over 4 years now and my students have gone on to achieve high grades.
I place a strong emphasis on exam technique – teaching students how to interpret questions, plan effectively, and write high-level responses that meet examiner criteria. Alongside this, I help students develop confident, fluent writing and sophisticated analysis, ensuring they can express ideas clearly and impressively.
I am patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in my students’ success. My goal is not only to raise grades, but to build confidence and independence so students feel fully prepared going into exams. Many of my students have gone on to achieve significant grade improvements, and I am committed to helping each learner reach their full potential.
For English Literature, I place a strong emphasis on themes, key ideas, and high-impact quotations. Students are given the knowledge they need to walk into an exam feeling prepared and confident. I help them understand how to embed quotes naturally, and how to link them to themes, character development, and writer’s intentions.
My approach is highly structured, teaching students how to plan and build essays logically, with strong introductions, developed paragraphs, and purposeful conclusions. At the same time, I remain flexible, adapting each lesson to suit the student’s pace and learning style so they never feel overwhelmed.
For English Language, I support students in developing both analytical and creative skills. I help them understand how to approach unseen texts, spot key techniques, and write perceptive responses. For writing tasks, I focus on improving expression, vocabulary, and structure, showing students how to craft engaging openings, varied sentences, and compelling descriptions. Through guided practice and clear feedback, students quickly become more confident and capable writers.
Overall, my lessons equip students with both the knowledge and the technique needed to succeed, ensuring they feel supported, motivated, and ready to achieve their best.
