About Grant
I am currently in my first year of medicine after completing an undergraduate degree of biomedical science majoring in neuroscience. Ever since graduating high school in 2022 I have worked as a private tutor for over 50 different students with a variety of different learning goals and abilities.
My students have ranged from year 7s through to university age and I have experience in tutoring all sciences, mathematics and English at all levels.
I pride myself in not only prioritizing your GAMSAT success, but also fostering a space where you feel comfortable to ask any questions or concerns you may have about GAMSAT, medical school, the interview process or anything in between!
I thoroughly enjoy my job and I'm always excited to meet new students to begin working towards their academic goals together, whatever they may be!

The first free session is a great, noncommittal opportunity to get to know each other and allows us to discuss the structure of lessons, your current GAMSAT preparation and the main concerns you would like addressed.
After this first meeting, in my lessons I will methodically unpack difficult Section 3 concepts and explore useful strategies to study them that are individualized to each student's learning strengths. Coming from both a Biomedical Science and Tutoring background I am proficient in explaining complex chemistry, biology and physics in a manner that can be easily digested and understood before finally being mastered.
I also have experience in tutoring students with minimal background knowledge in science. So if you love biology and chemistry but need some extra guidance or you are dreading Section 3 entirely, I am prepared and motivated to help!
For Section 2 preparation, I will provide constructive and poignant feedback on aspects of both the structure and content of your essays. Depending on your preference, this can be through an in-depth dissection of your writing style and topic selection, or a more holistic view of the piece for 20-30 minutes at the start of each session before moving on with science content to provide long-term steady improvement in writing ability. My ultimate goal for students is to attain a level of confidence in which they feel comfortable and experienced enough to respond to any prompt given on the day of the exam.
