About Augustine
I am a caring, considerate and creative graduate with strong interpersonal and communication skills. I have over six years experience working in a variety of educational settings including both specialist and mainstream secondary schools, as well as further education for young adults with disabilities.
In 2015, I was awarded Higher Level Teaching Assistant status- a certification that demonstrates that I meet the highest possible criteria for good practice.
I am currently the ASDAN (a GCSE equivalent qualification for students with disabilities) teacher at a school in South-East London and my Year 11 cohort recently received a 100% pass rate.
I am highly motivated by getting the best out of the students that I work with and bring both personal experience, and pedagogical research to my practice.
In my current role, I have experience managing, training, and directing other adults in the school, as well as planning and delivering high-impact, high-quality teaching to whole classes, small groups, and one-to-one interventions.
