About Leah
I am a teaching assistant with a focus on Special Educational Needs. I work both on a one-to-one basis with pupils as well as in group settings. I am offering private tutoring sessions to aid more young people in their steps toward success. I have previously tutored a number of close friends and family when extra support was needed across both primary and secondary education. While completing my GCSE exams I achieved grades C and above across most of my exams. I am a patient person and can be quite creative in the methods I use with both teaching and advising to supporting individuals with their education.

My teaching method differs depending on the person I am working with. No child learns the same way as another, so I prefer to try to understand the current learning methods of a child and develop a method suited specifically for that child. I find that providing children with an incentive motivates them to achieve their goals.
