Hi! I'm a senior in High School and I plan on attending the University of Tennessee at Martin for Education! I've passed all my history classes, so I'm the person to ask for help!

About Elizabeth
I am an approachable tutor who believes that learning should be meaningful, beneficial, fun, and helpful. My goal is to help students understand things in ways they can, rather than memorizing anything and everything. I want someone to build confidence in themselves while learning, rather than be discouraged for not getting it right off the bat.

My approach is more focused on understanding the material, rather than memorizing dates and facts. I can help by connecting events, people, and ideas so you can understand what happened, but also why and how it did.
A lesson could include:
-Reviewing important events, people, and dates
-Examining Primary and Secondary historical sources
-Discussing causes, consequences, and significance
-Practicing essay questions
- Summarizing the most important ideas at the end
Honestly, because I'm still in school learning everything and don't have a degree, I would prefer to help elementary and middle school.
