About Catriona
Hello, I'm Catriona! I am currently a senior medical student at the University of Manchester, having completed my pre-clinical years at the University of St Andrews.
Throughout my 5 years at medical school, I have ran my own business, Catriona Online Tutor, giving me over 500 hours of experience in tutoring and mentoring students from a range of backgrounds.
I understand what it is like to struggle academically. After I ended up on academic probation in my first year at medical school, I learned that I had dyslexia and ADHD, explaining why I had worked so hard to barely pass exams. Since then, I am now excelling in my studies.
This personal experience has led me to new ways of learning I can share with my students, which can be a game changer for those who aren't clicking with 'one-size-fits-all' lessons at school.

Although I have been very successful in helping my students to achieve their dream grades and university places, my main focus is to build confidence and self-esteem.
My lessons are as student-led as possible, gradually building up your knowledge and working with your unique areas of strength and weakness. An aspect that makes me different to many tutors is that no two lessons are the same - all of my lesson planning is tailored to the individual student. I believe that you shouldn't waste your time (or money!) on things that you are already confident with.

I work with Catriona in a fast paced environment where she provides teaching to those of all abilities.
