About Aliza
I have been supporting students with academic writing since my own university studies, helping peers and junior students improve structure, clarity and confidence in their work. I hold a BSc in Economics & Finance and an MSc in Accounting & Finance, and currently work in a senior role within private industry, bringing real-world insight, discipline and professionalism into my tutoring. Alongside my career, I tutor part-time and have supported many sixth form, undergraduate and postgraduate students with essays, dissertations, theses, proofreading and CV writing. My approach is ethical, supportive and tailored to individual needs, with a strong focus on academic standards and independent learning.

I take a structured, student-centred approach focused on clarity, critical thinking and meeting academic standards. Sessions are tailored to the student’s subject, level and marking criteria.
I guide students through planning, structuring arguments, improving academic language, and strengthening analysis, while ensuring all work remains the student’s own.
Lessons typically last 60-90 minutes and are focused, practical and goal-driven. Each session works on specific areas (e.g. dissertation structure, argument development, feedback review or CV improvement), with clear actions agreed for progress between sessions.
I hold a BSc in Economics & Finance and an MSc in Accounting & Finance, and work in a senior private-sector role, tutoring part-time. Sessions are suitable for sixth form, undergraduate and postgraduate students needing support with essays, dissertations, theses or CVs.
