I have worked with many students in my college career, and one thing I have learned is that a student will inspire YOU to be the inspiration. Students are meant to be kids, have fun, and learn in their own way. By allowing your students freedom of learning, you are giving them back control over their education, moreover giving the encouragement to learn on their own once again.

My lesson plans are individualized based on the students needs. A typical lesson plan would involve a Gradual Release of Responsibility, allowing a student enough time to work with me before doing it on their own AND giving ME the opportunity to see exactly where they are struggling in the work. As a tutor I believe the students should be given the freedom of learning and have the control over their education. By giving them this we encourage them to learn on their own rather than forcing it onto them. I can teach Spanish for 6-12 with the degree that I am being given.
