About Luping
I am a knowledgeable, skilled and patient tutor with great passion for SENIOR MATHS. I have Bachelor's degree in Commerce-Accounting from Macquarie University, Sydney (QS world ranking 133) and Master's degree in Business in Accounting and Finance from University of Technology, Sydney (QS world ranking 66), both acquired in my second language. My HSC China maths score was 148/150. I have also achieved Cambridge University IELTS result (valid) 8.5/9. I have been working at a NZ public school for 2 years helping Year 9-12 students with their daily practice on Maths workbooks, assessments and tests. I have also been preparing senior students for NZQA Numeracy tests. I have found and corrected more than 50 mistakes in the answers provided at the back of senior maths workbooks. I have around 8 years of experience working as a lecturer/tutor (mainly) for Cambridge University test IELTS both online and face-to-face back in Sydney. I pay attention to details, value true understanding over duck-feed for results and use different strategies with different students. I emphasize efficiency and good learning methods/habits. I do Olympiad Maths for fun, and I think Maths is a very interesting and relaxing subject that once you have learned the skills you could tackle questions in seconds!

Go through questions with detailed explanation and examples, emphasize the strategies to solve the same type of questions, summarize rules and link topics to broaden students' knowledge, then test students with random questions to check their learning. Online lessons with the length of ONE HOUR each time, no break unless requested. I appreciate your money and my time. Typically, my lessons are ideal for senior students who's finding it difficult to catch up with the class or having issues with certain topics. My lessons are also great for the ones pursue excellence in their assessments or tests. Even if you need to prepare for the Numeracy test, my lessons can help.
