About Kirsten
As a seven-year veteran English teacher, I have taught all levels of students from those struggling to comprehend a short passage to college-level students who just need a bit of help to get to the next level. I love working with students individually to figure out which methods help them best achieve their goals. I went to college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and then completed my Master’s of Arts in Teaching at Duke University. In my spare time, I love playing with my toddler daughter, doing jiu-jitsu with my husband, writing fiction, and sewing.
