I make a careful assessment of your needs and plan your lessons in advance.
I am skilled at maintaining student motivation, and teach interesting, engaging lessons.
Lessons always include homework and review before new material. I progress from what you know to new knowledge.
Improvement in English speaking is always a balance of fluency and accuracy, and we will practice both.
Better pronunciation is not about accent reduction, but being understood through better consonant vowel pronunciation and better awareness of syllable and word stress.
Improvement in English writing also balances writing fluency (writing a little every day) and re-writing for accuracy. For writing, you will be reading more to build your vocabulary and grammar knowledge.
I can teach regular conversation, business English (speaking and email / memo, report writing) , IELTS preparation, phonics, and academic writing.
