I go to a Welsh book club run by Minty. He is extremely knowledgeable, personable and engaging. I would definitely recommend him for one to one tuition. You will not regret it.

Minty gave me the confidence I needed to speak Cymraeg with other learners and I honestly don't think I would still be learning Cymraeg without his support and encouragement.

Hi there, Minty is such a good teacher, he's friendly, approachable and very good at explaining things which as a learner I just couldn't understand. He works so hard to help people with the Welsh language no problem is too big or small. He makes things fun, while you're learning, which in my opinion helps you learn. To anyone who would like to know a bit more about choosing Minty in any Welsh capability, I can say he is a superb recommend when learning and using the Welsh language - a generous person too, making anyone proud to be Welsh or who wish they were!!! Here is my positive take:

Minty is passionate about Cymraeg and the historical foundation and uniqueness of the language. This is evident in the way his enthusiasm and energy spill over into Noson Tyleri, where over a paned and bisgedi, our lesson comes alive and the language becomes real. I have loved the evenings I have attended and find Minty encouraging and supportive. Mentoring us all to “go for it” Amdani and do our best, be brave, and embrace what we know, however little… Noson Tyleri is a safe place to learn and have a siarad, and Minty is the reason. That and some lovely locals of Cymtyleri and its neighborhoods are of different abilities, but I feel comfortable here, and there is always a warm Croeso… I live over and down in Cwmbran… I wish I lived closer as the traffic from there to Noson is “ofnadwy.” That said, it’s worth the drive for sure.
