About Nicky
I’ve been writing songs for over ten years and currently perform and record professionally as the singer and guitarist of the band, Common People. I’ve co-written with Matt and Brad Shultz (Cage the Elephant) and Ela Melo and Drew Long (Rainbow Kitten Surprise). I have also toured with Cage the Elephant this past year and will be touring with Rainbow Kitten Surprise in 2026. Additionally, I am signed to Big Loud, managed by Red Light Management, and repped by UTA. What sets me apart: You’re learning from someone actively writing, recording, touring, and collaborating with major artists! Students have a unique opportunity to shadow an active industry professional who is both DOING and TEACHING :) I also have extensive experience working with children! Whether it be coaching, babysitting, or as a counselor, I have had the privilege to mentor countless amazing kids and would love to share the knowledge I have with the next generation of musicians!
