About Mia
Hi! I've been singing for about 11/12 yrs now, and I found vocal coaching to be very intriguing. I am well versed in the genres of rnb/soul and jazz. I've been apart of church choirs and school choirs my entire life, and what I've realized is that singing takes lots of practice/patience. But with the right vocal coaching, you can improve your voice drastically!

I focus on basic singing techniques ranging from diction, breathe control, pronunciation, riffs/runs or agility, etc. A typical lesson with me would begin with basic warm- ups.
Next, the student should have a song prepared to practice, so we can apply the techniques listed previously.
After the song, I will provide the student with feedback and we'll discuss what improvements can be made (or what doesn't need much improvement).
Lastly, we'll wrap up the call by discussing what techniques they want to focus on for the next call.
I want to make the lessons enjoyable, while also providing a challenge. (Also, my lessons are typically for beginners!)
REMEMBER: Singing takes a ton of patience and at times it can be discouraging when you don't sound the way you want! But don't worry you aren't alone! With practice and time you'll improve and be amazed at how diligence can take you to greater heights!!
Side note: Everyone learns at a different pace, so I do keep that in mind!
