About Tova
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance and Music Pedagogy and have 6 years of experience teaching singing to learners at varying levels of expertise. My teaching philosophy emphasizes combining strong technical skills with expressive musicality and performance confidence. I aim to help students uncover their unique voice while developing proper technique, stylistic understanding, and emotional connection to the music.
I create a structured, encouraging, and inspiring environment where learners can flourish. Lessons are tailored to the individual. Beginners work on breath control, pitch, tone, and simple repertoire; intermediate learners refine phrasing, vibrato, and stylistic interpretation; advanced students focus on performance, advanced repertoire, and audition preparation.
Each session blends exercises, repertoire, and feedback for balanced growth. Outside of teaching, I continue performing, studying diverse musical styles, and exploring new pedagogical approaches. Supporting students in achieving technical skill, expressive artistry, and stage presence is the most fulfilling aspect of my work.

My singing lessons are structured to help learners develop technical skills, vocal control, and expressive artistry. Lessons focus on breath control, pitch accuracy, tone production, vibrato, phrasing, diction, and stylistic interpretation. I incorporate exercises, repertoire practice, improvisation, and performance simulations to ensure students develop both technical proficiency and artistic confidence. I create a supportive and encouraging environment where learners feel comfortable exploring their voice, experimenting with different styles, and expressing emotion through music. Each session balances technical exercises with creative exploration to enhance overall vocal ability.
Lessons are customized based on student level and goals. Beginners focus on posture, breath management, pitch, tone, and basic songs. Intermediate learners refine vibrato, phrasing, tone quality, stylistic interpretation, and performance readiness. Advanced students focus on nuanced expression, complex repertoire, audition preparation, and performance technique. Every lesson combines structured exercises, repertoire practice, and personalized feedback to ensure continuous and measurable progress.
The purpose of my lessons is to help students merge technical mastery with expressive artistry, gain performance confidence, and develop independence in their musical abilities. Students grow as technically skilled and expressive singers capable of performing across genres and settings.
